Recognising a need in Caterham Dr Richard Wright, GHT lead for North Tandridge is exploring a project with a local bike shop owner to train volunteers to carry out basic bike repairs.
The intended outcome from this project is to encourage people of all circumstances including those from disadvantaged groups to develop healthier lifestyles, personal empowerment, and self-reliance in the community.
It is hoped that the learning from this project can be taken forward in other PCN areas to encourage active travel across East Surrey.
